Why is this Seminar Needed?
As per Merchant Shipping Notice 04 of 2022 dated 04.04.2022 Continued Professional Competence (CPC) is required to be maintained by seafarers holding Certificate of Competency (COC) at all times. Based on the CPC is established as per section A-I/11 of STCW Convention, Certificates of Competency are re-validated as per the Regulation I/11 of the STCW Convention and Rule 14 of MS STCW Rules 2014.
From 1st April 2023, it is mandatory that seafarers need to produce certificates of having attended at least two seminars to indicate Continued Professional Competence in a 5- year period for revalidating their COC.
Seminar Topics
All Seafarers need to have at least two such certificates of Continued Professional Competence in 5-year period which covers recent changes in national and international regulations concerning the safety of life at sea, security and the protection of the marine environment, latest developments in IMO, ILO & other international Maritime bodies

Every Month 1st and 3rd Saturday, 2nd and 4th Thursday
Fee ₹3900/- (inclusive GST)
2 Seminars in 5 years is Mandatory for CoC Revalidation

It is preferred to have a desktop/Laptop with a Zoom application installed and a Good Internet connection to undergo the Virtual Classes. Kindly note that you need to have sufficient internet connectivity and Data Pack to undergo up to 6 hours of classes a day
